Faster and more reliable Internet Posted on December 14th, 2007 by

Wireless is a great thing, there is no getting around that.

Although this is true, sometimes you need a more reliable connection to the Internet. We recommend that you disable your wireless card on your laptop and plug your computer into an ethernet jack for those times when reliability is a must.

To ensure this reliable service to you, we are offering an Ethernet cord free to any student that doesn’t have one. If you do not have an Ethernet cord, stop by the Technology Helpline and pick one up. We are located on the main floor of Olin. They are 25 feet long and should be long enough for any room.

If you have any questions, please contact the Technology Helpline at helpline@gustavus.edu or 507-933-6111.
