We have unblocked startribune.com as of 1:45pm February 22nd.
Due to a problem with the startribune.com web site, it is currently being blocked here at Gustavus. It is infecting computers on campus with the Antivirus Soft virus. It will also affect any Windows based computer anywhere in the world.
It is our recommendation to not visit the web site until further notice. If you have visited the web site today, and feel like your computer is infected, please give us a call at x6111. If you are a faculty or staff member the Technology Helpline can reinstall your computer’s software and clear the virus.
This problem does not affect Macintosh computers.
