Email/Home Directory Outage

Wednesday night, around 10:30pm, the servers that handle email/home directories went down, causing problems with checking email and accessing files stored on users’ home directories. At 11:00pm, all services were restored. If you have any questions, please contact the Technology Helpline at x6111.

Microsoft released an update yesterday (9/26/2006) that addressed a known vulnerabiltiy with Internet Explorer. The vulnerability could potentially allow malicious code to be executed on a users computer, just by visiting an infected web site with Internet Explorer. International Center Switch Upgraded
